Funny how things change, 2 years ago some people had Martinez at P4P nr. 1, now he almost gets beaten (IMO he did) by the Martin Murrays of the world and has been calling out smaller guys (Mayweather, Cotto, Pacquiao) ever since he got into the mainstreams attention. If he is so desperate for a payday, why not move up and fight Froch for example?

I'm glad The Ring moved him from #4 to #7 because he is clearly slipping and does worse for every fight, and now he is just trying to cash out against smaller guys.

Cotto looked great against Floyd and Sergio looked bad against Murray, why not? He is 38, he can't ko MW anymore, he should move down to JMW, bigger paydays, Cotto, Canelo and maybe Floyd.

If you watched the video, he was asked about Cotto and when asked about GGG, he said Golovkin would get his chance.

Cotto would be a good money fight for Martinez since he's close to retirement, but I really don't want to see that fight and I don't think it will happen anyway. It would be too much of a mismatch unless Sergio shows up badly injured.

Why do people talk out of their ass so much? You don't know boxing if you believe what you just posted. Go back to "that other sport" you seem to love so much, maybe your knowledge of it is greater than the insignificant amount you have about boxing.
