Ellerbe took advantage of an inexperienced management team.

He did his research and burned them for a ****** comment. They were so desperate and nieve that they accepted instead of calling his bluff.

This fight had to happen. Showtime needed it, GBP needed it and Mayweather needed it. Floyd had no other available opponents for this date. Yet Canelos team didn't realize this and ended up agreeing to a catch weight because of their inexperience at the negotiating table.

My question is will Floyd Mayweather say in his post fight interview that he still considers Canelo an undefeated fighter b/c he fought at a catchweight?

Leo looked like a bad liar and seems to believe that text on Scene is legally binding.
And Floyd thinks All Access is live.

A year or two ago, Canelos manager said they would fight at a catch weight so Ellerbe did his research and used his own words against him.

Lesson learned, don't ever negotiate in the media. Ask Chad Dawson.
Are you kidding? That was from 2011, he can't make the same weight now he could then. Why not go back 1 year, find Floyd saying he gives his opponents their best weight.

lol, they are were acting like they would have done the fight without a cw, pretending it gives no advantage

the boxing people know,f loyd is a hypocrite, he lied by saying canelo offered the cw, he lies when he says he fights guys are their best weight (canelo and hatton being clear examples)

if weight did not matter, floyds team would have made it at 154, the fact they did not shows they are trying to drain canelo, if canelo offered it, then its different, however, he wanted to be at his best at 154

floyds team are a bunch of liars, they try to spin it like the cw was canelos fault when it was them who wanted it, they would have not done the fight had canelo not agreed to floyds cw demands

              queen of catchweights

as usual, his stans are being thick on here, when its their guy, they make all of the excuses and become hypocrites to defend him, pathetic, the lot of his fans

Leonard Ellerbe on Cotto vs Pacquiao:

"He was a dead man walking when he went into the ring," Ellerbe said. "The casual fan doesn't know what difference one or two pounds can make when a fighter is already down to weight. Fighters know."

It's not Ellerbes job to negotiate for Canelo.

We all know that Money MAY asked for 152 lbs.

I don't know what you mean. A CW request is bad enough, but this digging up an article from 2011 to justify it is just ridiculous.
