Canelo vs Mayweather Compubox Numbers (Canelo's stamina?)

    Mayweather vs Guerrero - 195/476
    Mayweather vs Cotto - 179/687
    Mayweather vs Mosley - 208/477
    Mayweather vs JMM - 290/493
    Mayweather vs DLH - 207/481

    Canelo vs Trout - 124/431
    Canelo vs Mosley - 348/673
    Canelo vs Rhodes - 219/590
    Canelo vs Hatton - 294/626
    Canelo vs Ndou - 286/788

They average pretty similar numbers. What's interesting is in the plus/minus categry for % of punches landed and punches received Floyd and Canelo are # 1 and 2 respectively - showing better stats than Ward and Rigondeaux.

I believe Canelo is number 1 in terms of the accuracy of his jab alone.

I am not sure how Canelo gasses in each and every fight but if that's what people are counting on, God bless them!

Canelo's stamina will be even worse for this fight, due to the catchweight, he might even faint or die on the scales, I hope not but you never know with these catchweights.

High accuracy but low output. But guys are below average for their weight division averages. Seeing as how Cherrypicker doesn't gas that means he is a boring defensive boxer. The ginger's numbers means he gasses and has to conserve his energy or else he risks getting stopped late

You know all those Canelo numbers will mean nothing when he fights Mayweather right?

Compubox has its flaws but as a comparison tool it serves some purpose especially given the "fact" how Canelo gasses.

They both faced Mosley. Cotto and Trout are comparable. I don't think there is much difference. Guerrero and Rhodes are comparable as well.

Ortiz and Cintron did not go 12 rounds and I wanted to show what each fighter averages over 12

Maybe or maybe not. His got the best jab according to compubox. Better than Floyd and Ward. Floyd struggles against guys with good/great jab - Castillo, DLH, Cotto.

Canelo is the closest thing to Castillo that Floyd is facing.

It might be due to cutting extra two pounds but I don't think he gasses as bad against Trout as people believe and I haven't seen him gas in any other fight.

The only good fighter Canelo faced was trout and look at the numbers, which are about double what he actually landed in the fight. All you have to do is watch fights to see he has problems with stamina, why else would he stop throwing for periods of time and this is against guys who are old and dont offer much back. He's gonna gas 5X as fast when frustrated that he cant catch floyd and taking hard counters back

That all you need to know about how big a load of crap these numbers are. "Best jab in boxing"? Ridiculous
