If Htown is Houston, big ups!

Floyd isn't a KO artist, therefore Guerrero taking him the distance doesn't prove anything. How many rounds did Guerrero win?
So why do you let Money off da hook but not Canelo for distance fights? No excuse. That's ******ed.

You can tell that Floyd has a lot of respect for Cotto. He always compliments him, says he was his toughest fight ever, the hardest puncher he ever faced. Never said anything disparaging to him in the promotional stuff leading up to their fight, etc.

Floyd basically admitted Canelo is a Cherry Pick. I love it.

[QUOTE=retnuocllup;13701815]Please go check all my post. You will find that I've consistently said that this will be an easy fight for Cherrypicker.[/QUOTE

When i commented on your post it was a general statement. But since you feel Canelo is too easy of a opponent, who at 147 or 154 presents a greater threat then Canelo at this point?

Cotto did well in that fight against Floyd because Floyd fights at a measured pace so does Cotto and Canelo actually does also. However Cotto was taking what Floyd gave him without really pressing the issue too much even though he was really fighting a losing battle he knew the best thing to do was stick within himself because he knew from experience when he stepped out (or was forced to step out) of his game things went downhill quick.

Canelo hasn't learned those lessons and he is young also which leads to the belief that you need to make something happen, against a guy like Floyd that is generally a big mistake. Not to say that can't pay off but that really isn't Canelo's game, so tough to see that working out in his favor.

Exactly! Cotto actually has very solid footwork and can bounce around the ring and move his feet very well

Canelo wins by Knock out within 3 rounds

There is no doubt that a lot of work is needed from Canelo's side in terms of preparation... breathing technique, fitness, homework the list goes on. Floyd has perfected his art... so everyone that steps in the ring with him.. would have to step and if they are not up to that perfected level... there is only one clear result.. No one will ever beat Floyd and he'll retire unbeaten.
One thing that i notice with Floyd is his level of Focus.. I'm talking about.. when he walks in the ring.. his eyes are locked on the opponent with a very high level of awareness of the opponent's whole body, this doesn't stop until the end of the fight and that's why as soon as the opponent looses focus or tire, thinking twice even for a second.. Floyd strikes. He knows his level of fitness, he knows what he is capable of doing.. and it's just a matter of waiting for the space just for him to slide in that piece of the puzzle that fits that space. Floyd will play puzzle time with any opponents until retirements. Floyd will study his opponents and execute every move like a professor of boxing. So, when it comes to Canelo, he is young, strong, fresh, punch with powerful combinations, then his job starts way outside the ring, he would have to pull on everything he's done and push where his imagination may never been.. just to bring the future within his reach.. to dismantle the perfectionist Floyd only sits ever so comfortable at... like a king of all kings. Canelo will have to hunt the hunter and hunt smart.. He'll have to fit and know how to breathe and know his level of fitness and budget it like an accountant balancing the books for the United States weapon fund.. ready to fire and every strike means world war three. If Canelo gets it right, with high level of focus, fitness, constant pressure with the right weaponry and intelligence... It could well be within 3 rounds. Good luck boys. Could well be the biggest fight of our time!
