    Don't agree, Canelo is stronger & has more snap in his punches then Cotto.

    I think Canelo beats Cotto (The version that fought PBF) in a competitive fight as well.

      Are pedestrian when it comes to boxing knowledge.

      Only know the present boxing scene ( if that) and never consider the past of boxing, which is richer than the present, and adds context.

      The same as above, except with respect to specific fighters' careers.

      Fails to appreciate boxing as a science, and only gets excited when its a slugfest. Not to say they aren't entertaining, but that's a very small aspect of the sport, a failure to recognize this, is casual-esque.

      Puts Floyd/Manny in their All Time top 10. Comon people.

      Thinks gloves are there to soften the blow to the opponent/believe it doesn't hurt to be hit by gloves.

            If he's saying that he must be seeing something in those fight study sessions he say he doesn't watch. Cotto is technically a much better fighter than Canelo. Because he so technical he's usually doesn't think on his feet. Canelo is always thinking on his feet. He'll change rhythm or go from zero to sixty in a split second. The Trout KD was a perfect example. He took a perfect opportunity to throw one hard punch right when Trout was jabbing one those lazy jabs he'd been throwing all fight long. That's all he needed to do to win the fight. I expect Mayweather to win. I don't know how easy it will be but I'm expecting a good chess match. That in itself will be different than what we're used to in a Mayweather fight.

              When Floyd says things like "Cotto was very strong" It makes me question If he himself fully understands that there are weight classes for a reason. Canelo is considerably stronger than Cotto and If he rehydrate to 168+ on fight night Floyd will feel every graze. The weight behind the punches alone will be much different and could possibly rattle Jr early like in the Hatton fight..

              I don't think Floyd should ever fight above 147 again after this fight.

                Man, Mayweather goes life and death with Cotto that's way past his prime. Mayweather thought Cotto would be easy pickings after 2x brutal beatings from Marg and Pac;

                Cotto did well with his Pressure by pinning Mayweather against the ropes. Now imagine a Young Canelo, with the size advantage unleashing those 3-4 punch combinations on Mayweather against the ropes. Canelo has underrated speed and accuracy too. Mayweather has nothing to trouble Canelo. His only hope is to dance around the ring picking his shots and hoping he doesn't get trapped against the ropes.

                Canelo is going to eat this Hype-Job up. Mayweather is in a lot of trouble.

                  Doesn't May know about how Canelo beat Trout who beat Cotto? Why complicate things?

                    Trout looked like a new born baby dear trying to stand up for the first time when he got drop by Canelo.Cotto was getting smacked up by Trout.

                      Always funny reading posts with triangle theories in them, as it exposes their lack of boxing knowledge.
