Canelo won't beat him, but in some alternate reality where he did, the excuse would probably be old age, despite the fact that Mayweather looked sharp as hell in his last outing.

      Also, "IF"?

I thought you were one of the more vocal Canelo backers around here. You've stated that he WILL beat Floyd on many occasions.

        Nothing is certain.

Biggest excuse I could see was that Floyd was dealing with an injury or something, like they will bring up his brittle hands.

guys who take an 'l' for the first time, always tend to be humble about it...

just watch a young floyd get robbed in the olympics.... he handle it in the right way....
didn't show any signs of petulance after the decision.... just congratulated his opponent and moved on.

He also wasn't as insecure as a youth as he seems to be in adulthood.

Either that, or throw chairs at the referee and try to choke him! I don't see Floyd behaving this way though. Lol

"Even the best fighters got losses on there record, I realize now losses don't mean nothing as long as you fighting young, hungry and skilled fighters and trying your best. I mean look at Pacquaio and Marquez, they're both great, great fighters, both all time greats, and they got loses too, it's just part of the game, part of boxing."

That's what I imagine he'd say, or either replace Pacquaio/Marquez in that sentence with Ali and another ATG.
