Couldn't care less about #1 #2 and #3 in the super middleweight division. Bottom line is that Ward sucks and does his thing everytime he fights and it's very unentertaining. He basically fights like his personality. Boring.

If I'm going to be paying for a PPV fight it better be a good one and these two guy provide value for money.

Pathetic is a little strong. Even Froch said himself after the fight, he's the number 2 in the division and that's nothing to be ashamed about. I admired him for that humility even if he has since predictably gone back on it.

Ward did beat them both in such fashion, it is clear whose #1 and that ain't changing for no rematch with him. No good rematching him, but doesn't mean they stop fighting.

There's actually something quite entertaining about the number 2-5's scrapping it out in more exciting bouts, for the other belts, some big rematches, some intriguing match ups.

        Exactly the way I feel.

In fact, Ward needs to reestablish his name at SMW before he gets a crack at Froch! The guy hasn't fought a legite SMW since 2011.

Yeah man. There are some strange, predominantly US, posters on NSB, though.

It's utterly pathetic. What the hell is Froch fighting for if not to try to avenge his only other loss and become the number 1? He might as well pack it in.

I don't think Froch feels that way though, as a man he will want to fight Ward. It just depends on whether his promoter does.

I am a huge Froch fan - some of the comments in here are embarrassing.

To cement his resume, make it stronger, assert himself as the clear #2 in the division, increase his p4p ranking, earn some big money, continue at the top level, do what he loves, entertain boxing fans, give a guy his rematch like he got, fill out bigger stadiums, produce even more entertaining and brutal fights, increase how highly he's heralded overall in the SMW all time ranks when retired.

Heck I could go on. Do some of those, and it raises the public desire for a Ward rematch too. The above are more important though.

He's already cemented himself as the clear number 2. He's beaten Bute and he's beaten Kessler. The public desire has already been raised. The Froch-Ward rematch is bigger than the first fight because it has Sky Box Office now and will likely do a stadium in the UK.

I have a feeling Kessler would win this one. Both guys got hurt in the last fight and if Kessler steps it up he can beat Froch. Still a fan of both guys though
