Listen while I agree with Floyd we can virtually point his sentiments to many many fighters...in fact the majority. Hell Broner too!! The difference is there is a 12 year difference in professional careers here.

The truth is Mexico is starving for that big star. Canelo has the drawing power now but how long will that hold up? No shame in loosing to Floyd but what if some one else knocks him off? If Lara or some other JMW beats him his fans will bail quick.
Now Marquez was only Mexico's big star after Barrera retired. Guys like Marquez and Margarito were in Barrera and Morales's shadow most of their careers. Marquez went life and death with Pacquiao in their first fight and had to fly all the way to Indonesia to fight Chris John for 10,000 in his next fight. You don't take fights like that if you have options or a big following. Marquez was never that slug it out toe to toe type fighter that Mexicans love. So his skill went underappreciated for a long time.

Canelo is 22!!! He'll Use Floyd's Name To Start His List Of Beatdowns
Look at Floyd's record. Everyone knows Oscar beat him; Floyd walked away from a $25m rematch. Floyd made Cotto and Mosley wait for more than 10 years to fight; Cotto and Mosley were well past their prime. Floyd wouldn't fight them at their best. Floyd outweighed Marquez by 25lbs when they fought. Floyd struggled for 11rounds to put away a smaller, one dimensional, lead with your chin Ricky Hatton. Floyd beat another lead with your chin, cut like a stuck pig, Arturo Gatti, who was one dimensional and as easy to hit as a heavy bag. Floyd wouldn't fight Sergio Martinez. Wouldn't fight Manny Pacquiao. Floyd hand picked his career to death and did it strategically and timely, so to load it up with some "names" past their prime. Shut up Floyd; you're a weasel.

and then Floyd and his stans cry and complain that he doesn't get proper victory for his wins over opposition he and they deem as overmatched.

Mosley jumped up 2 divisions to fight Oscar so how did Floyd make Mosley wait 10 years? Or did you just say that in 99 Floyd should of moved from 130 to 147 to fight Mosley after he beat Oscar?

why are ppl pretending floyd said anything that would indicate its not a tough fight? did you read the article because the title is incorrect, floyd in no way shredded canelos record. the only thing he shredded ws DLHs prediction thatcanelo would knock him out and rightfully so.
he pointed out that canelo couldnt knock matthew hatton out over 12 rounds, yet DLH thinks he can knock out floyd mayweather? that makes no sense at all. even if we take into consideration that canelo improved since then he didnt knock out his last opponent either in trout, who also isnt as good as mayweather.
floyd never said canelo is an easy fight or belittled his accomplishments. he simply questioned DLHs logic and prediction like most real boxing fan did as soon as they heard it.
why do you haters try to twist everything? you never fool anyone..
