I hate it when people use the phrase "the sweet science" in the sense that they think you must enjoy watching pure boxers to be considered a true fan of the sport and if you don't then they consider themselves to be better boxing fans than you. I can enjoy watching a "boxing clinic" but at the end of the day it's a damn fight and that's just what I want to see. Give me two people trying to take each other's heads off over someone like Larry Holmes jabbing his way to victory.

By the way, that's not a shot at Holmes; I can enjoy watching him and I rank him as one of the greats at Heavyweight, I'd just much rather view a tear-up.
