The Racket Squad: The Best In a Thin Gene Pool

    Great businessman.
    Astute pugilist.

    All time great?
He did not fight the very best of his generation (Oscar was a ticket seller, not an overwhelming Pro talent) and he may very well not survive the onslaught of a determined baby bull.

All of the info is far from in regarding the genuine measure of this sweet scientist.
To place him beside Ali and to have him outpointing Duran or Pryor in any context is an act of buffoonery and dollar sign worship.

My opinion is simply we can't definitively say who would be whom. So why live and die by all-time lists.

JR does NOT qualify for GOAT

he at best would be at the bottom of the list.

SRR SRL Tommy Hearns , Duran would have whupped JR

The GOAT does not duck anyone, take Ali , Never Ducked a fighter, Joe Louis never ducked a fighter, George Foreman never ducked a fighter and should be in the top ten

The GOAT does not cherry pick his opponents

The GOAT does not gloat and brag about whuppin little men, wee little men , OLD men, men that can't pull the trigger and Worn out old champs

Jr has NOT fought a threat in over 8 years

Jr is fighting his first threat Sept 14th and can possibly lose this fight

What we have here folks is a boom in fans thru the internet young inexperienced fans that have no knowledge of past fighters like Cassius Clay who was the epitome of a fighter and ACE one who has the ability the punch and gameness plus take a tremendous shot

JR has snaked his way thru the past 8 years with retirements and ducking the elites of the day, like Pac, Cotto, Margo Martinez etc..........

Young kids have put him there, means NOTHING, WILL ALWAYS BE BLEMISHED for his ducking vacations and retirements etc........

          SAD
Man you are the king hater of haters. The reason he didnt fight a threat for 8 years is cause no one ever presented a threat. I know you want to throw out names of cheaters and "old guys" he didnt fight but that doesnt mean they were threats, he just diidnt fight them and that to you and yours makes them a threat. Even now the "Future", whom you say is his first threat, is getting no love and MANY are saying he will get steamrolled. Some are not giving him a chance in hell to win this fight. Its the same routine for every Floyd fight. First he scared then it becomes a cherry pick that stands no chance just like Canelo. Its not his fault he is that great

But dont worry your tears will stop Sept 14th

You're not saying Juan Diaz could beat Mayweather are you?

Awful list. Marciano and Tyson at 5 and 6? Come on.

The really disturbing part about this poll is that for Floyd to be ranked that high means a lot of people voted him #1. (shudder)

England (or the UK) is obviously quite different from continental Europe with the language barriers etc. I don't know if Mayweather is as well known on the continent.

                      Regardless, this poll is embarrassing.
