The answer of course is Louis. Regardless of the surely obvious fact that he's better all around, Just consider this; If Holyfirld were to be magically transported to Louis's era, there would be no steroids, and Louis would just make him another win. If Louis were to be transferred to Holyfield/s time, either Louis would also be on steroids, or Chappie Blackburn would not allow the fight until he was sure Holyfield was clean. If Louis can come to the 90s then so can his trainer....... Ergo....Q.E.D.

Louis, by ud or late stoppage, but I don't this it would be as one sided as the previous poster suggests

You have a curious mind these days. This must be about the 20th fantasy fight you have asked about. They are good match ups. I think Joe Louis wins by KO. It's hard to be relentless when you are unconscious.

Holyfield loved to exchange, unless you're liston or foreman, you're not gonna win against louis by exchanging. Louis would knock him out

I agree louis was great but other fighters were able to etbto him and holyfield covers a lot of ground an has tremendous heart and endurance.

I think louis takes the middle rounds while holyfield
Takes the early rounds an the late rounds are up for grabs .
Closer fight imo them you all suggest. Prime holy never got dominated

I'd have to pick Louis, but I wouldn't be shocked if Evander weathered a big storm and came on for a late stoppage.

Holyfield plays right into Louis' game.

Holyfield comes in aggressive, Louis counters with a beautiful right hand, and that's all she wrote.

What? Holyfield would not get stopped.
Especially off one good rt hand. Louis has to go life and death to beat holy.
