joe couldnt get away from a washed up RJJ early and got dropped. he got caught repetedly by kessler who is an extremely limited and twice as average straight line fighter who couldnt carry mcclellans jockstrap.

gerald could outbox joe easily, he could outfight him even easier and if joe resorted to just throwing as many slaps as possible and try to outwork him gerald would trade with him and knock him into next month. well, he would knock him into next month any way you look at it.

mcclellan was a completely superior fighter and a true champion.
I'm amazed at the disrespect shown to Calzaghe here. Walk right through him? Calzaghe?

    I highly doubt it.

Also dislike your dig at Kessler completely. For a guy that has about 3 good wins on his record, he sure does get a lot of credit.

Now THAT'S hilarious, and clever! Wit like a sharpened pencil. (Only tinge of sadness is that it makes one remember the tragedy that has befallen GM.)

G man would be too much. Too much skill , speed and power mix. Chin , most people felt g man would have gave roy the most issues. Joe never beat a prime fighter of note, imo kessler was very good , but green in many ways

How was he on the road to greatness? he got the crap beaten out of him by Nigel Benn, no disgrace in that, but hardly the mark of a fighter destined for greatness.

It would be a close fight but GGG would win by forcing the fight and landing the better, harder punches. Joe would probably go the full 12 rounds but he would lose. GGG might take him out if Joe trades power punches with him but Joe would probably try to box.
G-Man is Gerald McClellan bolio, not Gennady Triple G.

Uh, can you say "blood clot in the brain"? (bothering him from at least the second round)

Based on what? thats pure speculation. You do both fighters a disservice by suggesting their was something tainted about Benn's victory. It was a ferocious battle but one which Benn would most likely have won anyway. The injury was tragically sad, but most likely occured because of his style of fighting, one which didnt rely on defense.

He would always have been an extremely entertaining fighter to watch, but not a great one and certainly nowhere near as good as Calzaghe.
