ha this is true, but he was fearsome and had beaten top fighters. He was on the road to greatness. He was what Jeff Lacy wanted to be.

Yeah and he would've ended up like Lacy if he'd been in the ring with Sir Joe.

joe would NEVER fight mccllellan so it doesnt matter. but if he did g man would walk right through him.

joe couldnt get away from a washed up RJJ early and got dropped. he got caught repetedly by kessler who is an extremely limited and twice as average straight line fighter who couldnt carry mcclellans jockstrap.

gerald could outbox joe easily, he could outfight him even easier and if joe resorted to just throwing as many slaps as possible and try to outwork him gerald would trade with him and knock him into next month. well, he would knock him into next month any way you look at it.

mcclellan was a completely superior fighter and a true champion.

why are you interpreting a row of dots as that suggestion?

The dots weren't a fill-in-the-blanks with whatever you wanted to write to suit your agenda. This is not a forum for 3 year olds, get with DD, people can see what you write.

X2. Gerald was fearsome. He was blinking out in the Benn fight, btw, long before that fateful final round. Even the commentators noticed it. His brain was not right, and finally ... well, sadly we know.

On rereading, I get it, Dirk is referring to now, not prime versions. That's why he referred to 'ducking Gman'.

It'd still depend on Gman's mood, he can get well irate these days. And whether he has his walking cane handy to wallop Joe for showboating a blind deaf invalid.
