Can This Be Why Floyd Struggled With Cotto?

Floyd was overtrained and its the only reason why. Leading up to the fight, his entire team did multiple interviews voicing their concern that he may potentially peek too soon. They all separatedly said they wanted him to take a few days to rest. I knew right away, that Floyd was overtrained when I saw him get hit by an old washed up Cotto. He looked terrible and over the hill. Leading up to the Ghost fight, Floyd's father said the first day he seen Floyd train, he told him he needed to do less, and let his body rest in between sessions, so once he healed up he would see results the next day. Because he felt that with Floyd being 36 and not 26, he needed to be easy on his body. Against Ghost, Floyd was MORE lightfooted than when he fought Gatti, and looked like he did at 130. They been saying some amazing things about Floyd this camp, but I am fearing that he may peek too soon again. The fight is about 16 days away.I use the word struggled loosely, Cotto in my opinion only won about 3 rounds but why does no one ever provide an excuse or reason why Floyd loss a few rounds and got touched up a lil bit? Cotto is simply given credit for doing better than anyone else has in years vs Floyd but no one provides a reason why....
I can think of 3 major reasons quite easily why Floyd didn't have his best performance against Cotto.
1. Floyd was on his way to Prison in a month...is prison not a distraction?
2. Floyd was separated from his children and thats not cool heading into a fight
3. Floyd was moving up in weight where Cotto was comfortable, fighting a bigger guy at 154+
4. Roger Mayweather had Floyd fighting more offensively and being less responsible defensively
5. Floyd wanted the Pacquiao fight not Cotto on May 5 (40 million offer declined)
If any other fighter were going through these sorts of things heading into a fight there would of been a ton of excuses made for them. Remember Corrales and how going to prison is why he got KO'd by Floyd??? Remember MAB and how he loss to Pac because he had a metal plate in his head and a forest fire delayed his training? Remember Morales and how it was only his first fight at 135 so the Raheem shut out dont count?
With that said the only fight Floyd has ever come close to losing was against Castillo, that was his first fight at 135, vs the true champ, he had a torn rotator cuff, was clearly the smaller man and yet none of that can be used as an excuse???Comment

Why so many reasons? The only true reason is once Floyd fights a live fighter who he thought was a cherry pick they give him trouble.
How does someone come from a Cotto fight to a Guerrero fight? Only Floyd does that. Now we will see what a live opponent can do to this Floyd. I think he will finally lose this one. Let's just hope the weight draining technique isn't too bad on Canelo.Comment
