****. I like this kid, but this probably ain't a good idea. He should take some time off, work on some things, and maybe take a tuneup. Instead he could very well get KO'd again. Gonzales and Nacho might turn out to have the kid's number - it certainly appeared that way last weekend.

This is interesting I am excited for the rematch. I will be rooting for Mares and I think he will win this fight by UD but if Gonzalez lands something big it will be very interesting.

When Khan wants a rematch with Danny he gets hated on, but I am sure Mares will get love because we have many ******s on here. Mares was laughing at Donaire etc... and does talk too mofo's.

khan only wants a rematch with danny cuz he was in control for 2 rounds. maidana and prescott have been asking for rematches for years and he's said no cuz both of them messed him up. prescott more than maidana but maidana had him running for 3 rounds. so in khan's case people hate on him for being selective in his rematch requests. the argument is that if he's doesn't rematch prescott then he shouldnt get a rematch with danny...especially since he just fought a tin can and almost lost.

Great news, I didn't expect him to want to immediately get back in the ring with Gonzalez.

Not a good idea, Abner. KO, was not a fluke. Jhonny was moving well and connected with solid left hook but it didn't end there. Jhonny's killer instinct ended Abner's undefeated run with a barrage of punches to Mares face. If they fight again, we will see same result. Just like Juanma and Salido.

Jhonny can move, has speed and power and Mares doesn't really have good defense from a left hook. 1st rd and 12 rd performance defines a great boxer.
