Pac doesn't need to do anything to erase the memory of that vicious KO. He needs it to motivate himself to rise again.

nothing will erase it because it was too big a fight to be forgotten
just to revive his career? he needs to beat a top fighter
problem is, he's shot and doesn't have it in him to do it anymore
fearing a Roy-G Johnson replay in the Rios fight upcoming
and even if he won that, it still wouldn't restore him as elite

Funny how you purposely forgot Pac vs JMM fights were 2-1-1 in favor of Pac and Floyd tricked Marquez into catchweight only to be cheated.

Marquez knockout Pac was spectacular but you can't say Marquez was dominating in that particular fight before the ko but in the end just like the best of 7 games in NBA, Pac is the champion.

Pac just win the Rios fight and he will back in the games. It is a complete opposite though in Floyd situation. If Canelo ko him or the Showtime lost millions of $$$$$ again in Floyd fights. You can kiss your hero's butt goodbye.
So Floyd fights and dominates him in 2009 and gets no credit...Manny fights him 3 years later whne he is damn near 40 and gets ko'd cold and he is a warrior??

At this point: re-match Marquez and KO him. Only way to vindicate himself.

Since, that's unlikely, he should drop TR and go to GBP and take out the list of top WWs in that stable.

The loss is already part of his record. It's too late in his career to be trying to prove himself against a recent loss. Now having Two consecutive losses I. The late stages of your career would be a time for erasing doubts.

Golden Boy has most of the WWs locked up, there's not much he can do beyond Kell Brook.
Bradley wasn't a WW when Pac fought him. In fact, Pac ducked the entire WW devision when he cherry picked Bradley, JMM and Rios.

When Pac was fighting WW's, it was vs washed up guys coming off their worst performances. Old, shot and losing was the trend.

I mean unless you're referring to the catchweight Cotto fight back in 2009, then you're cool. I can understand. Yet all I ask is for you to keep it "relevant". Which Pac is not at WW. However him fighting an actual WW would. Which is the problem. He once again avoids the WW's to fight another losing bum.

btw, Floyd couldn't use that excuse when TR had WW's. Why are you trying to make excuses for Pac now that TR has the WW's?

Mayweather fights JMM in 2009: JMM is old and washed up.
Pac fights Cotto in 2009: Cotto is prime and goat

Mayweather fights Cotto in 2012: Cotto is shot and washed up
Pac fights JMM in 2012: JMM is prime and goat. (or the real irony, he's on PEDS)

                      See how it works?
