Actually, one cannot lose 6 pounds of actual weight in one day. It looks like Canelo is mistaking water weight for muscle weight, which what he really has to give up.

Canelo came into his last fight weighing 172 lbs after weighing in at 153 lbs. It was a Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. type of rehydration, and one doesn't know how "it didn’t kill Canelo to take off all that water weight, and then put it back on within 24 hours to fight."

This time Canelo looks like he’s on course to be even bigger than he was in the Trout fight. Canelo weighed in more for his 30-day weigh-in for Mayweather than he did for the Trout fight.
All that's to lose and gain 30 days out is Fluid not muscle , the drying out process will generally be around 10% of the bodyweight for the average guy .

This is a medically worked out standard based on the average .

Top prizefighters lose much more , at WW Gatti dried out nearly 20 lbs allowing a ko that finished a guys career .

Right now Canelo has to dry out 9% of his bodyweight , 1/2 of what a Gatti did , the same as 130 pound Manny that steps in at 145 , these guys are way smaller than Canelo yet can lose it and bomb people out or fight a war , Flor Canelo the weight is a walk in the park , the weight is fine by all hard evidence so far .

the 3kg daily is fluids , meaning he has a 3kg swing on the 168 30 day weight , don't go splitting hairs on the 30 day weigh-in like its a real weigh-in , fighters are not to **** about having a drink or piss for these weigh-ins they know their weight and it fluctuates about 2-4kg a day in a working athlete so they just ruff it out , give or take a few kgs they don't care .

Yeah the last thing this man's got to worry about is weight. He needs to be worried about fighting the craftiest boxer in this generation at a huge disadvantage in speed and experience. That's what he needs to be worried about. Not weighing a couple pounds less than his last fight.

It wouldn't be first for Canelo either. He did the same to the mighty Matthew Hatton. Mayweather's not the only one with past form for not making catchweight. But..... you knew that already right?

Canelo is young and has plenty of time to cut one pound. He was 153 in his last officicial weigh in. With the better training and more focus fight of his life with Floyd, cutting a only one pound would be an non-issue.

Whose a fan of CW besides Paccturds like you. I don't support Catchweights and won't give Floyd full credit against Canelo. You on the other hand has to suck Floyd's **** on his CW fight with Canelo in the name of Manny.
