I'm no haye fan but he didn't duck chagaev. Nobody ever ducked that guy. Why would they? Chagaev can't dictate anything & haye is the draw. Chagaev can't get a licence in many countries from his previous hep issues(not getting into that crap)& he hasn't fought outside germany since. If he can't fight in england the haye fight never would of happened nor will it ever. Maybe things have changed but noone would duck chagaev...
Pretty much exactly this. I can only laugh at the thought of Haye ducking Chagaev.
My opinion of Chagaev is that at one time he was a pretty decent fighter.
Which was unfortunately enough to make him a top 5 heavyweight in his prime. The division was truly terrible until Haye showed up, and even now isn't very good.
