Anyone still saying Lucas is just some brawler, I question whether they are actually watching him fight.

Duran was slicker than "slick boxers." If we hold every pressure fighter to that standard, no one is slick.

Matthysse does a good job. He's not easy to hit unless he's fighting a Floyd or Pac who are fast and accurate, but how many of those are there around?

          I wonder why.
That's because unlike the average Garcia fan ***tard, people that do have money to bet have some common sense.

Matthysse does some very subtle defensive moves that get overlooked because everyone is just waiting for him to destroy the other guy. Sets his shots up very well and gets good leverage on them, which occasionally has led to him over-throwing his shots, like when he fell against Peterson. He's a LOT more than just a puncher.

I guarantee you that Danny Garcia does not make it to the end of the 5th round. (Unless he runs for his life and uses his gloves as ear muffs, which he won't do)

I see some subtle moves Lucas makes in the ring. Danny has some too, although it's probably gonna be just a matter of a few rounds before Lucas catches him. But as far as a great matchup, this one is the goods. We'll definitely find out where each fighter fits in after this one.

LOL, Theophane nearly beat him....I forget, was he ever really even considered elite though? I'd say more of a gatekeeper which makes it worse when you think about it.

People need to go re-watch the Judah-Garcia fight and see just how wide open Danny is when he is throwing those rights. If he is even half as sloppy against Matthysse as he was against Judah, he will get destroyed in under 2 rounds.
