wha.....
he said he is the best fighter he ever sparred with, not that he outboxed him. and a lot of people around the gym thought Triple G was owning him.Comment

GGG is a very proud man so he's not going to openly admit he was wrecked by a smaller man is he now. The fact is he admitted Canelo was too much for him to handle and that was in sparring just imagine if Alvarez actually opened up. He'd cripple the top fighters.Comment

Why's golden boy hiding that sparring footage?Comment

I don't think he would fair too well at MW
The sparring sessions sound to me just like damn good sparring sessions and people are making too much out of it. Besides wasn't they absolute years back now?
I couldn't see Canelo doing well at MW; Quillin, GGG, Jacobs, Murray, Sergio, Pirog even a Barker/Geale would beat him for me.Comment

Honestly I think think canelo can rule 160. I don't think he'd beat quillin or ggg. Ggg will own 160 so it's best for canelo to avoid ggg unless he wants to **** his career up. He's obviously gonna hve to move up but I'd hate to see him against ggg. Atleast not for a couple more years.Comment

******.com co-editor Doug Fischer got a closer look at budding Mexican star Saul Alvarez and a first look at undefeated middleweight beltholder Gennady Golovkin during a recent sparring session.
Type into google "gym notes canelo golovkin" it's a good read. They both respect each others skills. But neither of them "destroyed" each other. It was a sparing session.Last edited by fish262; 08-27-2013, 04:30 AM.Comment
