I wouldn't be surprised if Garcia sparked Matthysse out, it wouldn't be the first time boxingscene placed all their stock in one fighter only to be let down. I actually favor Matthysse to win, but I think it is ludicrous acting as though a fighter, who is at times crude and sloppy, could not get duffed off by a competent puncher.

The question was "What if Danny Knocks you down?"
Matthysse shrugged and said he would get up. Matthysse is more than confident in his ability to win this fight as he should be given he's better overal boxer, stronger, in a great moment. But keep in mind he never says he's going to KO anybody, even after doing just that.
The thing he says most often is that he trains a lot for these fights, whcih he does, and goes to work in the ring. He says he doesnt look for KOs and its true, he's not going crazy there trying to KO people. But the KO do come becuase of the pressure and power shots he lands on what for Lucas is normal basis.

Looks like reality is setting in for Matthysse and his groupies. They've talked the talk and made some audacious claims as to what will happen, this is feeling like Khan vs Garcia all over again, everyone overlooking Garcia. Maybe Matthysse has been watching tape of Garcia unleashing the GARSH and he's getting nightmares, Garcia thrives against come forward swingers like Matthysse.

This would be sound analysis if Matthysse was coming in there to box like he did a couple of years ago, but lately he's been coming in there to take his opponent's head off.
