Lucas Matthysse arrived in the United States this weekend as he will finish the last leg of his training on American soil instead of Argentina where he normally trains. Matthysse assures he has been working hard as he prepares for the biggest fight of his career against champion Danny Garcia.
Part of what makes this fight intriguing is both men are hard punchers and the fight can end or change at any moment. Matthysse, who just finished destroying Lamont Peterson in three rounds in his last fight, doesn’t see this fight going the distance.
“No, no. It won't reach 12 rounds. I know it won't go that far. I'm very confident and I know it will end before. I won't look for the knockout but I've prepared very hard like always. I'm going to come out to work and if it ends in knockout even better and if it goes to the cards, the same thing. I've worked very hard so that's why I know I'm going to get the result I want” said Matthysse. [Click Here To Read More]
