I dont see what makes Matthyse so much better than Garcia in the fans minds. Garcia actually beat Judah who Matthyse did not, Garcia has beaten better fighters than Matthyse period. None have shown that they are invulnerable or unbeatable so I simply say its an even fight. I have no problem seeing either guy as the victor. Heck Danny may even be the more skilled fighter...

It's not like Matthysse is calling the media to talk about the fight. They're coming to see him because he's hot right now, that's all. It's the media asking the same questions over and over. They guy is actually very shy and avoids the limelight. Last saturday he was interviewed at the Mares fight by Showtime; at the press conference, the whole boxing media showed up. How is that his fault? In Argentina he's actually not that well known and certainly not a star like here. Except for Broner, Mayweather, Malignaggi and a few others, most boxers are humble and respect their opponents.

Exactly,garcia had his media day or open workout & got in a ton of interviews/vids while lucas was training.Now lucas was spotted at mares fight & media followed him for upcoming fight.He doesn't have a ****** social media like garcia/broner ect.He's simply answering questions these garcia fan bois are ridiculous,let em talk though they're trying to convince themselves garcia will win.

i think danny does have the power to put matthysse down..probably not out...but danny has good power...such a good fight..

If Danny can knock him down, he can knock him out. Danny has a good punch great timing and is a very good counter puncher. I pick Lucas to win but If Lucas get careless he could very well get KO'd.

I loled at this post. Big, bad, Danny Garcia he is such a scary sociopath he makes my ass hairs stand on edge when I see his scary rat face.

This is how the fight goes down;

Danny is a flat-footed fighter. His best assets are medium to good power with exceptional timing. He fights well in spots and has good composure. He will have good moments early on, possibly taking most of the early rounds. However I'd hedge my bets on Matthysse slowly breaking his way into the fight and starting to overcome Danny in in the late to championship rounds and begin to bust him up as I think Danny cuts pretty easily. After he's busted up and hurt he will go for broke and this is where Lucas will apply the death knelt which will come by a left hook of his own. Lucas by late rounds tko. The way to beat Lucas is to be fleet of foot and outbox him. Danny is not that fighter.
