Heavyweight is the type that I'm talking about. As I said, I'm a big Pacquiao and Mayweather fan. I just have friends who sleep on them because of their size/height/weightclass suggesting they're not "real fighters".

      1) Mayweather

he's 36, and still there. I do not know for how long, but he deserves credit. Great technique, amazing ring IQ , capable to adapt to any style he's faced.

      2) Rigondeaux

Resume wise he should not be 2nd , though the way he defeated Donaire (who was by no stretch a paper champion, but in fact a very good fighter) cannot be ignored. Along with Mayweather one of the best technicians in the game.

      3) Ward

In spite of his recent inactivity he's an extremely solid fighter, very hard to defeat. Has technique, speed, can fight outside and inside. If he lacks something it's only K.O. power.

      4) JMM

When you knock out a living legend like Pacquiao in such a brutal fashion, you deserve to be in my top 5. Very tough fighter, great counterpuncher. He has a very difficult fight coming, let's see how he can handle the younger faster Bradley at 40 years of age.

      5) W. Klitschko.

I'll be honest, I don't like him. I don't like his style and his recent opposition has been laughable at best. That said, you do not rule a (albeit weak) division in such a dominant fashion if you're not good. And he's good.

pac and klits should not be ANYWHERE near a Top 10.

          Floyd
          Marquez
          Sergio
          Rigo
          Leo Santa Cruz

You rank the rest, minus pac or kilts.

            Floyd Mayweather.

            Andre Ward.

            Terrence Crawford.

            Wladimir Klitschko

            Guillermo Rigondeaux.

In no particular order, I just don't think anyone can beat either of these guys...

I had Ward as top dog after his Dawson win...I even referred to that win as the beginning of the New Ward Order lol.....but since then he's done NOTHING...smh

Floyd is the top dog atm......Marquez, Wlad, Ward, and Rigo round off my top 5 atm....In that order!!!!

Lol.. I know the kid is untested and I wish this thread asked about 10 best boxers instead of 5 but i'm speaking on who I think are the best BOXERS.. Not hardest puncher, biggest stars, or my favorites.. Im talking pure boxing abilities and as long as there is no unfair circumstances like weight disadvantages I think they beat anyone in front of them.... Crawfords boxing ability seems great to me but I admit I was skeptical putting him on my list... I can substitute him for Bradley though....
