All the fanboy BS aside, people can't be dumb enough to really think that some of the top fighters (P4P) are not on some type of PED. Money, pride and competitiveness drive athletes to do crazy ****, boxers aren't any different.

The writer has a strong point because of the physical changes Marquez rapidly went through. Unfortunitely there is truth to the saying
"Where there is smoke, there is fire"

When Floyd first brought up the issue of stricter testing he was accused of using it as an excuse to duck a fight. People mocked him for being concerned about "health comes first."

Why didn't you care then, Hauser? Where was the article questioning why Manny walked away from the richest fight in history just because he didn't want to do stricter testing?

It seems like selective outrage to be worried now and to not have been worried back then.

Yup that's the problem people don't use common sense. Memo isn't the only physical trainer with a doctrine in sports medicine. What he is, is a guy that is known to use steroids to give his athletes an edge. So why use him, get somebody without a bad rep so you don't get a bad rep. I mean this is like basic math here and there is only one answer. Marquez as I said before is one of my all time favorite fighters but I'm not going to sit here and act like I really think he's clean now. NO ****ING WAY.

Sad but true, almost like people are only concerned about the health of certain fighters instead of anyone boxer that steps in the ring. Bradley is a perfect example, I've seen lots of threads where he's been called a coward or ducker for wanting Marquez tested properly/fairly. If he were a bigger cash cow people wouldn't question his desire to have a level paying field.

I think we should just keep letting the commission do it's job, PAC gets knocked out and all these dumbasses wanna change their tunes now.

When Floyd wanted him and PAC to set an example for the rest of boxing all these clowns were against it, but now it's different cause PAC got KTFO.

Who gives a phkkk if JMM looks different, they knew before the fight that Memo was his S&C, that's a red flag to anyone with common sense, the dude already said he knows how to cheat the system.

All of sudden EVERYBODY is concerned now, GTFOH.

This time last year you was a coward if you mentioned drug testing; now the PED problem needs to be stopped.

The thing I have a problem is even if I'm patriotic, is that whenever someone that is not from the US or Britain does great things in boxing, sometimes we accuse them of being on something. It's like we can't stand to see someone else besides us do great things, especially in the US. Yet the ones getting busted are from here in the states a lot of the times.

Raising awareness to PED use in boxing is fine and good but why use Marquez as an example? Especially when you are admittedly "unaware of any evidence" that he ever used them?
