This undefeated fighter nonsense is ridiculous. Some fighters lose early in their careers and then learn from it and become great. B-Hop lost his first fight. Does Roy Jones not get credit for beating him now?

And how many fighters stay undefeated very long? I guess Floyd should just fight every fighter with a padded record so long as they are undefeatedThat's what he said on the first 'All Access' episode.
Exactly TWO fighters on his entire 44 fight record that were undefeated; Corrales and Hatton. Just two. He didn't even face a 9-0 or 15-0 type fighter in his Pre-Championship days as most do.
This has got to be the lowest amount of undefeated fighters faced or beaten on any ATG's record.Last edited by Gorilla Dog; 08-25-2013, 09:05 PM.Comment

No you're not missing anything but the best win of Hopkins career came from an undefeated fighter. Taking on an undefeated fighter takes a lot of balls and heart because there is no blueprint to beat that fighter. Fighters with losses obviously have a blueprint on how to beat themComment

he needs an editor. that's a run-on sentence.
"I've put an 'L' on the record of every undefeated fighter I've faced."

Just remember, it's not the quality of the undefeated opponent's resume that counts. Hell, Canelo's record is weak for all extensive purposes.
It's Floyd own ideology of ragging on his opponents losses. I.E. I don't know who you beat or who you lost to, Gatti lost 5 times and I'm gonna show you the sixth way to do it.
Maybe he likes this. The more flaws his opponents have, stylistically or record wise, the more fun he can poke at them.Comment
