Well i hope you dont handle any boxers career,,,,

so let him fight figuero and lose,,, then what,,,

you cares if diaz isnt ranked,,, Juarez has fought at lightweight recently so him and diaz would be a big fight in houston....

Diaz is a name,,, any champ would fight him, because he is washed up,,,,

But go ahead and throw him in vs omar fig,,,,, let him lose,,, then what for juan,, comeback is done,,, you made a 100,000.. cong****,,, when you could make more than 100,000 going to england to fight burns,,,

and dont act like only guys that have earned it, get title shots,,, please, have you seen burns and vasquez next defenses,,, beltran, and ammeth diaz,,, those guys bring zero money to the table,,, juan diaz would bring alot more,,,,,

but go ahead and throw diaz in with prospects for cheap money and watch him get beat,,,, great move,,,, NOT

I didn't say he should fight Figueroa next. I said he should fight someone who could get him prepared for the threat that Fig presents, someone like Molina or Quintero. Juarez will not get him prepared for Fig's power and pressure.

Your shooting to low my man,,, why would diaz fight omar fig before landing a big name fight,,,,,,,

that would be like when morales cameback, won his 3 tune-ups and then decided to fight danny garcia who was still a prospect at the time,,,, with morales skipping the maidana showdown,,,,,,,,

look morales went big, and lost,, but it didnt hurt him because he still landed the cano, and garcia fights,,,

if juan diaz takes another tune-up like juarez, which would be a great payday for just a tune-up,,,, then he needs to shoot high,, abril, vasquez and burns are in desperate need of "name" opponents,,, so is gamboa,,,, Nobody is gonna dodge a juan diaz fight because he has a name and resume, but in reality poses no threat,,,,, let juan land one of thoses type of fights, and then after he loses, he can always still land an omar fig fight,,,

You have to maximize your money, and fighting omar fig after another tuneup would be basically career suicide, and juan diaz and join juarez and nate campbell as guys with names but wont land any big name fights,,,

thank paulie malignaggi for that one, eric gomez.

should be a great fight if baby bull has anything left.

prime baby bull would beat figueroa up, though. if arakawa pressures you and marks you up, diaz is going to beat your ass. diaz wasn't a big puncher, but he was certainly bigger than arakawa.

For it to work, the sanctioning bodies would have to allow their titlist to fight him. Gamboa is in line to fight Abril. Figueroa is in line to fight Broner/Burns. Crawford is in line to fight Vasquez/Burns. I think it's gonna be more difficult than you think for Diaz to get a titlist in the ring. He better be ready to fight a contender if he can't.

In a legit sport, yes it would be hard for diaz to land a title shot,,,

but we are talking about boxing here, were cash and corruption rule,,

just look at the garbage guys that get title shots,,,, look at who cleverly defended against, or vasquez and burns........

Joke defenses are kinda the norm in boxing,,,,,

Diaz doesn't have a promoter to bend the rules for him though. Burns has been fighting WBO-ranked opposition, and he'll probably continue to do so. Abril is not aligned with TR/GBP, so he doesn't have much control. Vasquez is promoted by Zanfer who's aligned with TR. Broner is doing a juggling act with the LW and WW belts, but doesn't seem like he'll be staying at LW. The titlists have tried to unify before and negotiations fell apart. Vasquez will probably be given the option to unify after he defeats Diaz. There doesn't seem to be any movement on Abril/Gamboa, so maybe Diaz can fight one of them.

Honestly fig is way overrated. He hasn't fought anyone worth mentioning and I doubt he hits as hard as his record indicates . Diaz should not be in line for this fight and shouldn't get a shot at the interim . How did arakawa get ranked #1 by the WBC if he got stopped by Daniel Estrada and the beat a fighter that was 0-1 to get the #1 ranking ??? Wow . Looks like de la hoya n hayman r trying to build him up. Gamboa told suleyman that he wanted to fight for the WBC title and that would mean that fig will have to fight him for it or relinquish the belt .
