That's because Nihito Arakawa had that warrior spirit. Juan the baby bull has already shown you can break his spirit. I still think this is a good fight for Omar, he (Omar) won't be in trouble until he faces a strong power puncher like Broner.

if diaz wins that would be 3 tune-up wins and should take a big fight,,,

Dont take omar fig next because you lose your done,,

try and land vasquez, burns,, or even gamboa or crawford,,,
get a big fight payday,,, if you lose you can still fight the prospects like omar fig,,,

          its simple boxing business moves..

Why fight a prospect, when you could get a big name for more money, you can always use your name vs a prospect, but wont land a big fight if you lose to a guy like omar fig,,,
Juan Diaz is not a top fighter and isn't ranked by a sanctioning body. Why would any titlist risk their belt against him?

Juarez is a SFW, that fight won't get him prepared for Figueroa. He just fought a journeyman, he doesn't need another one. He needs to fight someone who actually has a chance of beating him.

Say bye bye to Juan Diaz. Diaz will get raked over by the much younger, hungrier, determined fighter.

This is an incredible action fight and I think the young blood Omar Figueroa wins this fight.

Juan looked alot better in his 2nd fight back but even he knows he needs another fight or two. Obviously GBP wants the fight sooner rather than later cuz they know Juan will get into better fighting shape with the more fights he gets in. Juan had never been muscular or a puncher but he has skills and hits harder than arakawa. Good fight that really is a toss up.
