That to me is struggling against far worse fighters than Tony the Tiger...
I would agree that Tony the Tiger is better than Monte Barrett, Tony Thompson is a good win to have on your resume

A fight is a fight you cant expect a heavy weight not to get tagged a little bit with the exception of wlad Klitsh. In no way did Haye struggle whatsoever against Ruiz, he got off the more punches was more slick more active and let his brutal punching power go and beat Ruiz up like a ginger step child! As did he batter Barret too!

Toegate has rightfully turned people away from Haye but you can't deny his speed and his Powerful fists, for me is what HW div should be about, gotta love a puncher if only Wilder turns out to be the real deal!

That being said lets not get things twisted this is the heavy weight division and if your off Balance and 18 stones worth of punching power hits you it's to be expected for any fighter to graze the canvas even if Haye barely did!

Doesn't change the fact for me that outside of the Klitchsko's he's the next in Line I thought Chisora could take Hayes power just look at how he knocked him out! Could Pulev take that, now that is the question?

For your argument to stack up you would have to claim boxing is one of the few sports to have regressed??? Tennis, soccer, snooker etc all have improved tremendously, yet boxing got worse, especially in the Heavyweight division...

If I did fantasy match ups you be one of the wet blankets that would say "Eubank would trounce froch" or "Henry cooper would school Wladimir".

You diss my boxing knowledge but I nail prediction after prediction.

I predicted Pulev on points...it happened

I said Kovalev kncoks out clev..it happens

I said Wlad would school Haye...it happens

I stick my neck on the line and I get disse
d, but I always come out on top.

You are just the other Sheeple that claim things "arnt like the good ol days" despite all the facts of size, better training, nutrition, strength...

Start forming your own opinions and you may actually win a debate for once in your life, hey you might even predict the correct result of a fight for once in your life.
Cong**** you picked right on a few overridingly favourite outcomes. a tip of the hat to you sir..

You must be easily impressed if you thought that was an impressive performance by Pulev

Mate I rate Haye, I don't like the prick, but hes a very good heavyweight. As been shown I believe this era would **** any other era. I think Haye would school the fighters that Tyson schooled in more impressive fashion, which leads on to why I think Wladimir is the best ever.

Anyway, my point is that Eastern block fighters seem to get a hard time with things. My point was Haye has had some shockers against worst opposition than Tony the tiger(who I think is the best US heavyweight).

Pulev has been out of the ring for over a year, and performed very well against a tricky south Paw, with a good jab and is very tall. He was up 9 rounds on my card.

Yet people are saying Pulev is a fraud and wasn't impressive, yet haye got incredible Hype for that woeful no contest showing against Valuev.

That's the crux of my point.

what did you expect him to do after over a year lay out. Pulev not a massive pucher, hes no slouch but hes not got Haye esque power. Thompson only gets Koed from the greatest heavyweight right hand ever. Which is no disgrace.

This had late staoopage at best, or decision all over it for Pulev, which he did. And on my cards he won most of the rounds. It was a schooling against a tricky southpaw with ring rust.

What did you want him to do????

In my mind, it is being completely ignorant on the subject and therefore a complete waste of my time. So are you. Many esteemed and long serving, respected posters have told you in this very thread how wrong you are on so many levels, and now you think you can man up and give something back? You would first have to acquire a wealth of knowledge that you have thus far proven to be totally inexistent, hence there's no point in me arguing with you or the polishbummer back and forth, because it won't change the fact that neither of you know wtf you are talking about.

I couldn't care less about your troll points. 397k - thanks but no thanks.

Oh so you were very aware that Ruiz was just the WBA title holder and not the HW Champion of the World.

Nice try though pumping up a 40 year old shot fighter in order to suit your agenda in making Haye's porous resume sound better. That might work on a non or even casual Boxing fan but not here junior.

Now reply with calling me a troll

Pulev will fight anybody, can the same be said of Haye? No,he picks and chooses opponents like Harrison,Barrett and Chisora.
Judging by what I saw last night, Chisora would beat Pulev.

Pulev is a load of ****e man

Looked like two old journeymen having a scarp last night, certain Europeans want to hype him up, not sure why..

Looks like a very ordinary boxer

Wilder would probably knock out Pulev within 2 rounds

If this is all Pulev has got to offer, he's in for a lot of trouble

I'd put money on Chisora and Fury taking him out

Also I think Chisora and Pulev shud scrap it out to face Wlad

Right now Pulev isn't ready for Wlad

If he can beat Delboy, then all credit is due to him
