BTW let me correct some our British posters in saying Ruiz was NEVER HW world champion. Ruiz was a WBA title holder
in an era of 3-4 titlist

Yeah but people expect him to challenge the K brothers and off that performance it isn't going to end well for Pulev.

Brilliant, then Vitali who has only ever held one of the belts was/is not HW champion. Larry Holmes only ever held one version of the title when there were 3 titlists, he must not have been a HW champion.

Not really that clear cut is it. Ruiz resume is far far better than Thompson, and Ruiz resume isn't that great his biggest wins are an past prime Holyfield, Tony Tucker, McCline, Golata and Rahman.

Thompsons notable names are Price, Kraniqi and Chazz Witherspoon.

Let me ask this. What would people say if Haye went 12 rounds with Thompson? Didn't knock him down and get clipped a few good times himself?

If Pulev is the #3 he should surely be judged on the same level as Haye or even get tougher judgement seeing as he is supposedly better.

I said its the best heavyweight division ever...people agreed with me and I gave the stats and facts of the sizes and weights, and all the new countries(including the eastern block and cuba) that now enter boxing..that didn't even exist in Ali and co era. Again they ae facts you cannot refute.

Pulev has been inactive for over a year against Americas best heavyweight in Thompson, whos just beaten Our best propect.

Now get the hell off my thread.
Don't say another goddamn word. Up until now, I've been polite. If you say anything else--word one--I will kill myself. And when my tainted spirit finds its destination, I will topple the master of that dark place. From my black throne, I will lash together a machine of bone and blood, and fueled by my hatred for you this fear engine will bore a hole between this world and that one. When it begins you will hear the sound of children screaming--as though from a great distance. A smoking orb of nothing will grow above your bed, and from it will emerge a thousand starving crows. As I slip through the widening maw in my new form, you will catch only a glimpse of my radiance before you are incinerated. Then, as tears of bubbling pitch stream down my face, my dark work will begin. I will open one of my six mouths, and I will sing the song that ends the Earth.

The fighter makes the belt not the other way around. British media and some posters like to skew there words in order to make someone look better than they are. Ruiz former 2 time world HW champion sounds better than reality. Former 2 time WBA titlist!!!!
