I know Karass is Mr Showtime, having fought there 3x in the past 12 months. But who the hell buys a Broner Maidana PPV coheadlined by Thurman Karass? It's a joke, Schaefer must be really angry hence airing it in the media. Either way they gonna take a bath on this PPV. but at least it's on GBP and not Showtime this time around.

Schaefer shouldn't Say anyone turned down an opponent unless he's willing to release the details of the offer. We know sometimes in boxing they purposely low ball fighters so they can set up the match up they really want to make.

Now this is a duck. Here we have Thurman, an undefeated on fire prospect, who'll take any challenge in sight, and Guerrero needing to get back on his feet, yet he's avoiding him. At the same time Guerrero has no problem calling out Ortiz whose barely fought since 2011, coming off two losses ( three if you count DWTS), one breaking his jaw. Guerrero is a self righteous nobody who should be forgotten as quickly as he got his fame

                Robert "the duck" Guerrero

I don't see how you put a Broner-Maidana fight on PPV with Keith Thurman giving Karass a brutal one way beatdown as the co main event. Guerrero just completely ruins this PPV card. He's clearly holding out for Broner if he wins or an Ortiz who's been on the shelf & filming movies. Guerrero is looking like a d-bag right now. He must not want to have a fighter like Thurman put hands on him. He wants to avoid Thurman for the much less menacing 5' 6" Broner. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he fought Paulie next.

Its so funny how when someone is not even offered a fight they're considered to be ducking someone, this guy flat out DUCKED Thurman and you have the proof, yet these dbags are making excuses for ghost. HE'S A CHICKEN, A COWARD, QUACK QUACK, IF IT QUACKS LIKE A DUCK.......

I like Guerrero, but it's obvious he doesn't want to risk having back to back losses. Thurman is a high risk, low reward fighter at the moment. He's not a draw yet, so a lot of fighters are going to stay away from him for the time being. It's still no excuse to not fight him though.

In fairness to Guerrero, he's coming off a loss where he celebrated finishing the fight. Who comes off a loss and gets in the ring with Keith Thurman?
