Andre should be trying to get the biggest paydays he can. Can't blame him for that.

To be honest Ward deserves the criticism. He won the super 6, has done nothing since yet has people arguing that he is pound for pound number 1? At one point I would entertain such arguments, even believe it myself as I respect/acknowledge his abilities, but he doesn't have the activity of someone who is just a few yards away from greatness.

Also I don't know why more fighters do not take the BHop route, beat down the fighters who are available and take the big money fights when they present itself. I fear that what happened to Bradley in his fight with Prov will happen to Ward. Get too picky about who he gets in the ring with, then end up getting in a dog fight with a scrub.

Has done nothing since? After the Super 6 he beat Dawson who was the lineal 175 champion. Before Adonis Stevenson did. The same Stevenson that the OP now thinks is so great.

The lineal 175 champion, drained to 168.

he went through the SS and became a top p4p fighter. he doesn't have a heavy billing yet. they want to fight for more than they've been getting. i don't think he's ever going to earn big time money, especially now that he's stuck with goosen.

Andre Ward is the most overrated fighter in the sport today, yes he's got talent but who doesn't at the elite level. He's in a crap division and he's just awful to watch. And don't talk to me about skill like he's some rigondeaux or Mayweather, he's more of a sumo wrestler. His match against Froch was truly awful I cannot believe the amount of hugging that ref let him do, literally looked more like sumo wrestling instead of boxing.

Chavez Jr. is obviously beneath Ward, but I'm hoping that he does something to earn it first. At least beat Bika or a respectable SMW. I'm hoping that HBO show some integrity and don't make it, but they probably will make it because Chavez/Ward means good ratings.
