I had Mares winning this fight handily after seeing Gonzalez get put on his ass against Osejo. Than I saw how much bigger Jhonny was but still felt he would win and than the left hook landed and I knew that was game over. Mares needs to go back down to 122. He is only 5'4 1/2 Gonzalez had two whole inches on him.

Why the hell was Mares trading? Dude needs to hold and move away. Was swinging wild when he had NO legs under him. Mares will come back though, he just go caught by a big puncher.

Abner is overated and there is nothinf special about him people. HYPEJOB. He would lose every single round to RIGO and get knocked out in the process.

You can't say that based on this remember the triangle theory.
Mares also tried to box and that was a mistake something I'm willing to bet anything he won't do with Rigo.
If he fights Rigo I think Mares would tuck his chin in and attack his body with the occasional low blow those Goldenboy judges can't seem to see.
Rigo is a beast though and might have enough power to KO him coming in.
Either way it won't look anything like this. I think from here on out when ever Mares fights a good boxer puncher he's not taking chances he's brawling.
