No it isn't because they've never fought. It is merely an opinion.

Its not an opinion, its fact. Bhop is showing us exactly how its done. You think Pavlik and these bums could **** with fighters from the 80/90's? Pavlik would be on a highlight reel getting stomped like a old cigar is about it.

Carl Williams would be a dominate force in todays heavies. Imagine Mercer fighting these bums. He would be wearing the crown and thats a fact.

Horseman, I could go up to a guy bigger than me who is better trained and just because I've never fought him before and think I can win, doesn't change the fact that in all likelihood I'm gonna get my ****in ass kicked in!

Take your wife, your kids, your family dog and show them an olden days fight, then show them a modern fight.

Ask them to choose which boxers look more skilled, more athletic, more powerful, more dangerous.

None of them are gonna pick the weaklings of the past are they!

You can SEE how bad these guys are by comparison.

Statistics SAY the modern opponents are much better.

And it goes against every principle we have that old would be better than new. Things progress!

Nowadays, many say Wladimir Klitschko is only champion because it's a bad heavyweight era.

The world has changed 180 degrees, but prejudice still exists. It's just prejudice against different groups nowadays.

No moron there is no prejudice. That is just a copout. The reality is that he IS fighting is a weak era. In a stronger era, he wouldn't have gone 10 years unbeaten. He has many weaknesses like his chin, no inside game, questionable stamina but there is nobody good enough right now to expose his weaknesses.

Heavyweight is in the middle of a transition period between the previous era and the new, and the new has some promise. Heavyweight has also gotten better in the last few years.

But the era currently ending is definitely one of the worst historically.
