How would you rate this HW era?

Old Foreman gave prime Evander a fight and knocked out fighters multiple levels better than almost everyone at heavyweight today. James Toney beat better fighters than most the division today when he moved to heavyweight.

I never said Toney was a great heavyweight. He wasn't, not even close.

Yet he was winning against heavyweights better than the crap today. What does that say about today's heavyweight division?

So, do you exclusively debate by exaggerating what people said and leaving out key parts of their posts? I made it clear that old Foreman would not beat Wlad, and I don't know what Vitali has left so that's a question. He could and probably would beat everyone else though. Giving Holyfield a fight is better than most these average or worse fighters would do, and old Foreman has actual wins I can point to that are better fighters than most today.

its obvious in this thread that alot of posters have no idea about boxing except for a few years,,,

the 50's was dreadful,,, or how about the era of jack dempesy when dempsey would never defend vs a negro... or how about the jack johnson era,,,, those were horrible eras for different reasons,, mainly racism,,,

Some of you should do some reading before you spout off that this is the worst era ever,,, boxing has a deep history,, learn it
