what a victory for jesus, so happy for him. i hope he gets better with garcia now, he showed some flaws in this fight, but overall, great win, and it was a clear one. the broadcast for argentina lost the audio, so i found out he won when they started celebrating, thought it was a split desicion

Méndez won it.... either usmanee has a granite chin, or Méndez is lacking pop. He was landing serious bombs. Fun fight.Comment

So, Mendez gives this guy a boxing lesson and what does he come away with? A damn draw! How can you as a boxer get motivated the next time around when this kind of thing happens? It's a damn shame but the damn judges don't give a **** ass....probably a bunch of fat a$$es that have no clue what it means to sacrifice to get in that kind of shape. Wow...unbelievable!Comment

Last night's fights were very competitive and entertaining but the commentary and analysis by Teddy and Joe was awful.
Atlas is so ****ing biased and inept it's remarkable that ESPN still keeps him around. I can't believe he has the audacity to cry "robbbery" or criticize other judges when he can't score a fight properly himself (it's laughable how he scored the first fight).
And what was the deal with Joe Tessitore sucking up to Atlas the whole night as he kept on belaboring the Tyson-Atlas reconciliation...
As to the Mendez fight, I thought it was competitive, and close, fight but I thought he won 8-4 or 7-5 at worst.Comment

I stopped watching FNF for quite a while, just because Teddy (and now Joe) end up ruining the enjoyment of it. I thought I'd come back last week, and they were WORSE then ever. As I explained it last week, Teddy already has his biases set in stone before the fights ever start... and then he does those fight plans, so he's already emotionally invested in who wins. He spends the entire fight trying to explain (or prod) the viewers into seeing that he was "right".
After Teddy scored the 4th round (a round which clearly was a Usamewhateverhisnameis) for Mendez, he went in to this rant about how it was a Mendez round even though Usamee (sp?) did better then previous rounds. The FIRST thing he did was show a replay of MENDEZ with a good shot to Usamee and NOTHING of what Usamee did. Then he preceeds to show the FB poll where the fans voted like 80 some percent in favor of Usamee, and Joe's thing is to automatically make the fans out to be idiots because they don't agree with Teddy. It's sickening. I'm actually glad it was the season finale, and that sucks because ESPN actually puts on some pretty descent fights. I used to enjoy Joe, but he's become quite condescending of the fans or anyone who disagrees with Teddy's score.
The only thing that sucks is that my DVR cut out after the 9th (I think) and I missed Teddy's outrage at the score. He had it a complete shut out for Mendez after the 9th.Comment
