Why does Marquez need to fight Pacquiao again? Roach and Pacquaio wanted a definitive finish, and they got it.

If Pacquiao couldn't get the knock out in 4 previous fights why would the 5th be any different?

I agree. And the odds favor Pacquiao in a rematch anyway. If I handed this over to a nerdy, greasy haired statistician who knew nothing of boxing or what the numbers represented, he'd see this. Four events... Result 1: Null (25%), Result 2: Win for P (25%), Result 3: Win for P (25%), and Result 4: Win for M (25%).

Thus should there be a 5th event, There would be a 1 in 4 chance of a draw, a 1 in 4 chance M wins, but a 1 in 2 chance that P wins again. So if we want the 4th meeting to be last because we are ready for them to move on... sounds good. But anyone who says that there shouldn't be a 5th fight simply because Marquez established himself as the better warrior is willfully and conveniently choosing to ignore the first 3 fights. In their mind, this would only be their first rematch and given the KO, completely unnecessary.

Both great fighters and legends, most their fights were really close except the last which JMM won definitively.

Fifth fight? In some ways it would be great to see but a part of me thinks they should now leave it alone and move on.
