I feel sorry for Marquez, I really do, I hope he doesn't end up jaded and bitter like Frazier. Both men are/were absolutely obsessed with their closest and fiercest rival yet while Ali walked away with a free heart and I'm sure Manny can do the same, having beaten JMM twice (not counting the 3rd fight, I'm counting the first one, where the judge didn't even know how to count to 10), yet it seems everything JMM does or say revolves around Pac.

It's sad, the whole world knows Pac is the greater fighter and will rank higher yet all JMM has to take away from his career is a solitary KO? LOL

I'm guessing that something was lost in translation. We'd have to see the Spanish transcript to be sure. I doubt that's what he meant because he's said several times that it wasn't a lucky punch. I don't care either way so don't accuse me of being a Marquez defender here. I actually wanted to see a fifth fight and think he's a bit of a **** for being like this.

I do think JMM will do the fight again or he wouldn't talk about it as much as he does, he just wants to sweat Manny because all this shit they put him through making him wait, low balling him and whatever other ways JMM feels wronged.

Now the shoe is on the other foot and JMM is enjoying the position, also JMM knows this is the biggest fight he can make so him talking and making the event seem unlikely makes people crave the fight more. So since his piece of the pie will be bigger JMM is doing his part to make that pie as big as possible.

JMM be playing dudes like a fiddle.

          Was he being sarcastic?

I'd be fine with Marquez retiring, but if he fights on past Bradley he should give Pacquiao a rematch.

I am sure someone ASKED him about Pacquiao. I dont think he just comes into interviews talking about the win. As a matter of fact, he really seems like he is trying to move on from it. "I won. I wont fight him again, so he and Arum can stop asking." Is kind of what I get from it..

Marquez knows what's up. He is traveling in an old vessel and the impending Desert Storm that is headed in his direction may leave him stranded out in no man's land, reminiscing about the final scene of an ATG career.

Was that sarcastic note there when the article was first posted? Don't think I saw it

                      Give a Pacquiao a rematch?
This guy spent his last years of his career looking to KO Manny. He can't start it all over again. He has no motivation anymore -- money let alone.
