Picking between Toney and Floyd, it's Pernell Whitaker.

And bull**** to anyone says Toney wasn't prime. He didn't have to lose all the Burger King weight at heavyweight, that was the best shape he was ever in.
You mean the first fight...that was scored so poorly the WBC ordered a rematch?

I can't tell if this is sarcasm.

To me Floyd did more defensively than Toney and has more options to avoid shots which is why he gets hit less, so overall he is a better defensive fighter.

If comparing just the things they do similar Toney probably has the edge because that was his whole thing while it is just a big part of Floyd's plan.

          Its James Toney....

Toney could show up fat as hell, hardly train, fight a guy like jones, peter, rahman, and hardly get touched,,,,,

I dont see how floyd could do the same,,,,, I think if floyd pulled a toney and added 40 pounds and was fat and out of shape at lhw,, kovolev or stevenson would put him to sleep,,, but that doesnt happen to james toney because you can ever hit him flush, and when you do he has a granite chin,,

The one that gets hit less. Isn't that the purpose of defense?

Also Mayweather's compubox stats would be different if he had fought prime Jones, Nunn and McCallum x 2.

Toney leans his head way past his waist line let him try that in a street fight and see if he's a good defensive fighter Oh I forgot he got choked out in 20 seconds when he tried that in MMA
