Thats not a good example for Danny- Zab was a slippery customer and his style is not a style to make Danny look good but Danny did enough to deal with this awkward opponent- somehow I don't see the same scenario with Mathysse lets agree we are all looking forward to this one.

I like Danny because he's methodical and powerful -- but he's quite slow.
Lucas, instead, has KO power in both hands and has a formidable effective balance. He's also good inside...
IMO, if nothing unusual happens, Lucas wins by KO.

I agree with you this is a fight both can win and lot of people on here are writing Danny off. I've been watching boxing for over 30 years and time and time again I have seen the fighter with good timing stop a more powerful boxer because timing always beats speed. Matthysse can win so can Danny but people are writing him off to easily both can win and if Danny wins the guys that have had a go better stand up and admit they got it wrong, but believe me they will find a excuse for Matthysse this has happened on many occassions.

There are a lot of subtle nuances in Lucas' game that people overlook because they focus on his monster power and rightly so. He just needs the platform to prove he's that good and he'll get it soon enough.

I think you missed my point - I was'nt referring to Mathysse over the past 30 years there have many occassions where a fighter with good timing has beaten a more powerful fighter - I was not referring to Lucas. I still stand by my point both can win this Lucas as well as Danny.
