    Until he fights Matthysse.

Lucas ends Floyd's reign, IF Canelo doesn't 1st.

After he loses to Lucas, he'll still be elite, but just won't be able to beat the WW champ, Lucas.

I say 2-3 years, when your opponent is father time, if you keep fighting eventually he beats you

I thought Lucas' nickname was "the machine" or "la machina"?

To be honest, for as long as his chin and defence doesn't deteriorate much there's no real reason why he couldn't do a Hopkins and be elite for many more years.

I think we'll see him beat in the next couple of years though......but he may well remain in world class for quite a while.

I'm going to have a cheeky bet on Canelo on points, maybe another on the draw.

if he stays away from Lara he's got as many as he wants
don't see that fight ever happening, no money in it for Floyd
Lara is the only guy with the style to beat him JWW-JMW
if Floyd doesn't face him he won't lose again until he quits
he isn't as worn as most near 40 yr olds normally are
he always keeps in shape and has taken minimal in ring damage
there's no opponents around him that can fuck with him now

Hard to say,,,, the only guys that have a chance to beat him are full fledged jr mids and bigger,,,,

i think floyd still beats everyone from 147 on down,,,, and i dont see anyone being a huge threat,, maybe lucas, but that is a huge maybe,,,

floyd beats everyone unless he grows old overnight,,,, no doubt in my mind he beats
                broner
                thurman
                bradley
                manny
                danny
                maidana
                khan
                alexander
                etc

floyd is lightyears better than everyone around his size,, only bigger guys with a size advantage have a chance

It's a good fight, hope it happens if Lucas can get past Garcia, because I damn sure don't wanna see Floyd/Danny. Danny's too much of a fan and Lucas would be trying to take Floyd's head off, and that's when we see Floyd cruise to an easy UD lol, but seriously I like that fight a lot.
