Poll: If Guillermo Rigodeaux was 147 lbs.

I happen to think that if Guillermo Rigodeaux was 147 lbs. on a bigger frame, he would be CONSIDERED the best boxer in the world. That means over Floyd, Pacquiao and Ward.

Here's a little poll to see how you guys feel about where he would rank if he was in that deep mix at 147.
    49
He would pass Pacquiao for sure. (legitimately)
    16.33%
    8
    He would pass up Ward.
    4.08%
    2
He would pass up Mayweather for P4P #1.
    38.78%
    19
He would'nt pass any of them up.
    26.53%
    13
I have no idea or don't care.
    14.29%

He certainly wouldn't be having the problems getting on TV he is if he was a welterweight.

The phrase pound for pound was invented for this reason.. and Rigo has not really been mentioned as #1 p4p.

in terms of sheer skill? close but not quite
Ward and Floyd have been at it in the pros longer than him
it's a different ball game than the amateurs
and resume wise he has a long way to go to catch up to them

He would be the same position he's in now.

if he kept his same speed, power and athleticism then yes. The guy would be a better version of mayweather really, he seriously is that good

The way he dominated Donaire was a work of art, if he went for the kill more...he would be much more popular no doubt.

If Rigo was bigger he would be better P4P? What? You don't seem to understand the concept of P4P...

He would be infective. Too much weight for his small frame.

Well what I meant was being able to beat those elite 140-147 lb fighters if he was bigger. That was the point.
