With Floyd no matter who he fights people will just bring up who he did not fight,if he Fought Margo,Lara and Williams..then people would just say he ducked Ortiz,Oscar and Hatton

I still don't understand how Margarito and Paul Williams became the standard bearer of fighters Mayweather should have fought to make his resume more legit. And now Angulo!!! I'm a fan of all 3 of them but no way do I think either one of them stood a chance. As a WW Williams probably had the best chance but I can't imagine Mayweather not being able to figure him out too. Margarito and Angulo are way too slow to apply enough pressure to pose a serious threat. If or when Mayweather gets beat it will because he either overstayed his welcome in boxing or he uncharacteristically decide to come into a fight unprepared. Until either one of those things happen I'm not betting against him. If he has another dominant performance against Canelo you might as well forget about him losing anytime soon, because he has the best chance to beat him.

They said no to the fights before floyd was a major star,,, none declined him once floyd beat oscar and became the biggest star in the sport and brought the most money,, nobody was rejecting a fight then,, yet floyd wouldnt offer them the fights and "retired" till shane was completely old and coming off a 17 month layoff, and cotto was completely shot... When it was in boxings best interest and not theirs they declined to fight floyd. When its in their best finacial interest then they fight floyd. So they did what was best for their pockets and floyd did same.

You are basically asking floyd to put the sport first when others didn't. That's seems unequal. Of course everyone wants to fight you when its in their best finacial interest. That's not for the good of the sport that's for individual profit.

I get your points but you can't have it both ways. These men turned floyd down and then agree to fight only when its in their best financial interest yet you kill floyd because you believe he put profit first as they did.

Floyd is not the cherry picker here, you guys do it FOR HIM!! You hype up all these guys off of popularity instead of skill or how their style matches up against Floyd's style, instead we of the normal you scared, he's ducking..to dangerous comments...of guys that Floyd would beat easily.

Instead of hyping up the Canelo fight, you guys should have been hyping up Austin Trout Vs Floyd Mayweather after Trout's win over Cotto.

Instead of hyping up Ortiz you should have been hyping up Lara Vs Mayweather.

Instead of hyping up Delahoya you should have been hyping up Paul Williams.

My point is, the most dangerous fights for Floyd stylewise is usually not against the most popular guys.

Same here tbh, the other excuses for a number of ducked fights aren't worthy but I have no problem with Canelo except it being 152. the fact that Canelo was weighing as much as a SMW a couple days ago just makes it worse.

How? He weighed 172 on fight night against Trout, so he drained 18lbs for the weigh in. He's at his fight weight for Mayweather now.
