You forgot to include those who cheat (Pacquaio, Margarito) and those who turn down fights against the best opponent they will ever face -- Mayweather (Pacquaio, Mosley, Cotto, Hatton). I have never seen a sport where the best fighters can be called bums and hype jobs by people on internet forums over and over again and it seems OK. It is ridiculous,where is the respect,these fighters give their lives to dedicate their craft to rise to the very top of their sport only to be disrespected by the very people who they put their lives on the line for to entertain.It is amazing,and crazy at the same damn time,makes me ashamed i watch the same sport as these clowns

With you 100%. A lot ans expectations of their fighter are unatainable. If they show any ***** in their armour they are slammed. I have a huge respect for the guts and courage that the lesser capable fighters have. It has to take a lot of guts entering the ropes knowing you are outguned,up against it knowing you will be laughed at and mocked for coming up short. It is easy to fight with everything going for you but fight with courage when everything is stacked against you takes some doing that is why I don't feel comfortable with the term bum.The harshness of the critisism that a lot of fans level at fighters is not used to judge their own performance in their own lives and is hypocricy. there is a lot of double standards with boxing fans.
