Yet Adonis lost in 2 rounds.
Stevenson also KO'd Boone in his rematch.

Regardless, I think Kovalev is better than Stevenson but we won't know for sure until they get in the ring (assuming he gets past Cloud).

obviously Kovalev is the better fighter in general but Stevenson obviously has more power and i think if he landed a big left he would end this hype

Froch beats Kovalev but it would be a great fight.

Kovalev has too much power and Froch takes hard shots in all his fights

That's what I'm thinking as well.

Though people who say Kovalev will do a Cleverly job on Froch.. I just don't know what to say.Froch is in an entirely different league. Unlike Clev, Froch can seriously hurt someone and has very underrated ability, dare I say, better than Kovalev's. And one thing we know for sure is he has a granite chin.

at 175 I would favour Kovalev, at 168 Froch. At this moment in time.

              Too early to call.

Kovalev needs a few more fights against ranked opponents.

Kovalev would probably win simply because his power is out of this world. I think he'd beat Ward too. No way can Ward avoid Kovalev's shots for 12 rounds and once he lands it's light out. Same goes for Hopkins.

To beat Kovalev you'll need a world class chin and world class power. In fact, Froch probably has the best chance of beating Kovalev out of anybody in the SMW and LHW divisions. Doing it is another thing altogether.

This is a great fight, but I done think Froch would want to fight a beast in the twilight of his career

Tough one to call. Froch might have the best pound-for-pound chin in the sport at the moment, but he tests it too often and Kovalev clearly has a special type of power. One of the questions that needs to be answered about Kovalev is how he copes when someone who isn't afraid of him hits him back with hard shots. Not questioning his heart per se, but it isn't proven. Froch is way too arrogant to be afraid of Kovalev and you know he'll be sticking him in the face with stiff jabs and clubbing at him with caveman shots all night. The question that needs answering about Froch is how he'd cope fighting at 175, because Kovalev clearly couldn't make 168. Got 'Fight of the Year' written all over it if ever happened.
