Cleverly could learn a thing or two from Barker.

yes a bunch of slaps that never even hurt lacy derailed his career. he was never the same one dimensional plodder as before.

Credit to Nathan that hes not the new JC, because Nath tried to fight someone decent instead of 5 years of bums between each decent fighter.
I'd rather watch 5 years of Gavin Rees or Nath fight anyone going than Calzaghe versus noones for 5 years.

Belt handed to him by his promoter. Spoon fed bums during his "reign" and calls it quits as soon as he gets beat by someone with a pulse.

He never should have held a "title" in the first place. Maybe if the stars align and Kovalev gets injured and needs to delay a fight ol' Frank will swoop on in have him stripped so he can hand the title back to Cleverly. It wont be the first time he has done this.

Belt was handed to him by his promoter? His promoter made the fight between him and Jurgen Braemer who was the WBO Champion. Braemer chickened out a few days before the fight.

            Stop revising history.

Odd why has this happened mutliple times before with the same promoter for the same belt?

Am i wrong in saying Cleverly did not win his belt in the ring and rather had it handed to him?

                What other times?

Is it Cleverly's fault that the champion backed out of the fight with days to go? Is it Warren's fault? Why is Cleverly criticised for a guy being scared to fight him?

In fact, Braemer was the mandatory for Cleverly and he ducked the fight yet again. I suppose that's Cleverly/Warren's fault

                  Enzo Mac, Ricky Burns.

                  Who are/were they promoted by?
Who did they beat IN THE RING to own a title.
Which belt did they have handed to them?

                  A pattern has emerged.

Enzo Maccarinelli was the mandatory for Johnny Nelson. Nelson retired rather than face Maccarinelli so he vacated the title.

I believe WBO champ at lightweight was Marquez and he moved up in weight therefore he vacated the titles. I don't know what you expect to happen after fighters vacate titles. Stay champion emeritus forever?

Ummm...????? Face the next best possible highly ranked opponent from that ORG?

You know actually have a fight for a title belt...is that asking for too much?
