"He's the next Pacquiao," said Schaefer of Matthysse. I don't think so. If he could barely beat Alexander and Judah, then don't even mention the name Pacquiao.

I can't wait until these two are gone. Boxing will move on and new stars will be created. Maybe those new stars won't be ego-maniacal a**holes trying to con the public with every fight.

Moving on isn't complete until you find other places to stage and promote Boxing world-wide. Arum exploring Macau as another venue is one positive step in promoting Boxing; Another place is the the oil rich Middle East Countries. In the future, you can see Boxing Stars in these places, where there are no high taxes cut from fighters earnings. But like it or not, we ought to give credit for Mayweather jr and Pacman for their effort in making Boxing more interesting and entertaining.

Pac and Floyd both deserve all of the accolades coming to them but you would be foolish to say that you'd be glad to see them go. They give the up and coming fighters something to strive for. Both have been great for the sport of boxing over the last decade.

Can't wait till their gone! It will be the end of PPV or if PPV's still exist they have to be stacked in order to sell. As much attention both Mayweather and Pacquiao hace gotten, lets not forget how they kept the sport of Boxing hostage with their cherry picking fights the last 5 years.

"...and Sergey Kovalev joining the fray as well at 175 due to his own formidable knockout power."

                  Reading is FUN-damental.

DG will make LM look human and not on steroids, then look at Floyd to come out and challenge LM. He will cherry pick for the next 5 years so he's not going anywhere.

The only thing close to a crossover star America has right now is Adrien Broner, who Americans hate. And he's probably not good enough to carry the torch for a decade. The only other hope is Deontay Wilder. Hopefully he'll catch the Klitschkos at the right time. A big punching, American heavyweight champ will always crossover.
