Canelo has been fighting bigger guys on average than Floyd has in his career and he clearly has a higher KO% than Floyd does. I would infer that Canelo actually hits harder than Floyd does.

I totally agree with Mosely. Floyd has to go in and try to hurt this kid early because the kid is going in to hurt Floyd. He will be at close to a 20 lb disadvantage. The 20lbs isn't literally 20 lbs in a sense of dead weight, but rehydration weight. The kid will be strong early.

You have to remember that Trout has a completely different style from Floyd. Mayweather is more stationary that Trout and will provide an easier target. Of course Floyd has extremely good reflexes but he will be a smaller opponent than Trout and will not be flicking a jab out there every few seconds.

Canelo will be able to close the distance on Floyd and he has very good combination punching capabilities. Floyd should be able to outpoint him but I don't think this will be an easy fight, it should be tougher than the Cotto fight for Floyd.

Floyd can move when he wants to move and no floyd won't be flickering the jab he will be landing the lead right on canelo's face the whole fight and by the 6th rd canelo will be frustrated and go away from his pre-existing plan and try other things while floyd gets more and more accurate shots to the head and by the 9th rd floyd will be looking to stop canelo.
