One of the things I never liked about Warren, he turns on his fighters when they lose, just when they need support the most.

Frank Warren reminds me of 90% of the posters on here...turn on a fighter when they lose. And call them exposed and C level.

I'm still genuinely shocked by the outcome. I really believed in Cleverly and thought he was going to dominate the fight. Major props to Kovalev, because he was winning all the rounds even before Clevs was on ***** street.

Nathan's not a hype job he is a very good fighter one of the best Britians got to offer, but like Golovkin- Kovalev hits with 2- 3 divisions higher and fighters have to learn to cope with this. I thought Nathan came out with the wrong game plan. On another a note it was nice to see Calzaghe their looking in good shape.

Why though? He gets hit a lot, and you just can't afford to get hit against a murderous puncher.

I still don't think we know how good Cleverly is. I would like to see him against Hopkins, Cloud, Stevenson or Dawson.

Hi The Weebler I hope you are well - I agree this was Nathan's first acid test and we don't really know where he is in the current ratings, I think his in the top 10 but until he fightsd the names you mentioned we won't really know exactly where he stands. but saying that I think his good enough to mix with the Clouds, Hopkins etc.

So do I, but I hope his chin isn't cracked (i.e. punch resistance diminished). The ref and team messed up sending him back out there for the 4th round. He'd had enough.

This right here. 175 is kind of a weird division right now; there are some good fighters out there, but you certainly can't call it stacked. Everyone wants a piece of 168.

We really need to see Kovalev in against the likes of Hopkins, Stevenson, Dawson, Cloud, etc. before we'll really be able measure Clevs loss.

Never liked Warren as a person but he knows boxers and is a good judge of fighters so I'm wondering how he can think that "anybody who uses his brain and boxes" can beat Kovalev. The Russian is not a mindless ****er. Got a good jab and goes up and down the target. Will take a very good man at least to tame him, might even need somebody special.
