American fans are the most sensationalist fans of anyone. They are quicker to call hypejob and turn on their fighters than anyone else.
If anything, British fans support the underdog even more. If he tends to lose, then damn. Everyone will get behind him (if he loses in an honourable way, not like Haye).Comment

haha. the booing during the anthem really pisses american fans off. I think the british fans are a good thing for boxing. they are polarizing and alwyas make any event that much better with their passion. SO long as it doesn't morph into a Hagler-Minter type situation.Comment

Of course he's got some fans in the UK but during the pre-fight press conference over there, most fans were shouting "who are you?" while giving him the finger. I'm talking about what the majority of british boxing fans do at press conferences/weigh-ins/fight night. They're more disrespectful than fans from other countries, at least from what I've seen, you gotta admit that. They have some qualities that other fans don't have but respect ain't one of them.Comment
